What a fun and exhausting week this week! It is hard work transitioning back to school, but after Marshmallow Challenged and some Growth Mindset Math, I’m feeling very optimistic about our class this year! I hope your children are all enjoying our class as much as I am!
I wanted to share an opportunity with you that I saw in my email, if tickets are still available!
Supreme Court Justice Sonya Sotomayor will be doing a book signing and interview on Sunday afternoon! She has young readers editions of her book, and while I don’t know the discussion topics, it is a very rare opportunity to meet a member of our federal government as influential as her! (In fact, you could argue that she is even more important than the president, because she has a lifetime appointment!)
